Setup/Installation of the ICARO Middleware:

You have defined your Master Password in a previous step. Now click on the link below to encrypt your SAP password and, if necessary, your SAP user with this master password. Then enter the encrypted string(s) in the setup and continue the setup.

Encryption and decryption of credentials

For a middleware, secure encryption for users and passwords is one of the most important tasks. The difficulty here is that, unlike when a user logs on to SAP in dialog, for example, the middleware logs on to SAP or other IT systems automatically, i.e. without any user interaction. Thus, the middleware must also be able to decrypt this encrypted data again.
