COACS is the result of years of experience with reporting quantities and times to SAP. Let’s call it PDC for now.

The classic connection to the SAP target applications of the PDC is based on the SAP standard protocol PDC, here in particular PP-PDC, KK3(PM/SM) and KK4(PS).

With COACS, we stay in these protocols for stem data supply, but use SAP’s current APIs for reporting back to SAP.

The COACS Cockpit is an SAP transaction used to handle confirmations that cannot be posted properly. More info here.
